Word Counter is a simple tool that will count the number of words in a document or paragraph. Word Counts are great for writers, bloggers, and students who need Word counts when preparing content. Word counter also provides advanced stats such as Word Occurrence, Word Formulas, and Sentence Counts
The Word Counter is a free tool that counts the frequency of words and displays them in a bar graph. It has a customized dictionary that separates the content into 20 categories including business, computers, gaming, entertainment, and more.
The Word Counter only counts English words from any text entered from the webpage you are on. To use Word Counter, simply open it from your browser toolbar by clicking on the Word Counter icon. Then copy and paste your selected text into Word Counter to get an accurate word count for each section of content. You can choose which sections of your text WordCounter will count as well as how many times those sections should be counted. The default number is two counts per section but this can be changed if needed or altered to fit your counting.
Word Counter works in the following way: Word Counter is a bot that will count to your conversation and react accordingly. Word Counter understands basic words such as "Hello Word Counter" (will respond with an introduction), "Good Word Counter", "Thanks Word Counter", etc. It also understands commands such as "behave yourself word counter".
The code basically checks for specific words but does some extra logic to include user-specific preferences I made while implementing it, so some of the things are user-specific. Also included in this article are nonfunctional parts of WordCounter's code which I have left out for being irrelevant to understanding the whole picture.
