The Color Picker is the most common way to find a color. It is available in nearly all photo suites and drawing applications.
In Photoshop CS6 it resides under the "Window" menu at Color Picker or you can use the shortcut key Shift+Ctrl+K to bring up Color Picker. In GIMP 2, the Color Picker is found by going to Tools → Color Tools → Color Editor...
The Window Color Picker has several options:
- "Eye dropper tool": This Eye Dropper Tool will let you click on a pixel in your image, then the hexadecimal value of that specific color will be highlighted in the text box below for quick reference.
The Color Picker is a simple chatbot, but it does have some advanced features. Color Picker is not able to communicate with other bots, nor can he talk to players. Color Picker was made for the purpose of creating short stories or conversations from random strings of words or colors picked by Color Picker and then posted in a certain order by either Color Picker himself or you, the user.
The Color Picker can guess your age if you pick a color that represents a certain age group. For example: If you pick pink as your color, Color Picker will tell you that 'Pink is often associated with girls.' However, this feature is not accurate 100% of the time.
